(DressLikeA) TOP 10 Essentials for the Fall
As the fall is coming (probably sooner than you would even think) it's time to get your wardrobe adjusted, pack and store all the summer gear and make the necessary procurements for the fall. The list you'll find below was hand picked by our good friend Atte from fashion blog DressLikeA and covers 10 components that will help you to get through the wind, dark nights and colder days.

1) Navy blue wool suit
Time to get back to the office after vacation. No better way to to do that than wearing a navy blue, well cut and fitted Italian wool suit.

2) Bold check sport coat
Fall means changing lightweight linen and cotton blazers to sport coats made of a bit more rough cloth. Tweed, flannel, wool and even cashmere jackets with windowpane, glen or PoW-check are great to pair with trousers made a bit heavier fabrics as well. Don't be shy to use a bit more textured jacket, it will make a difference!

3) Shawl collar cardigan
There's no time of the year where a shawl collar cardigan would be out place, however fall is maybe the most obvious to wear one. This kind of a cardigan is easy to combine and can be used not only with jeans and a sport shirt but as well with grey flannel slacks, dress shirt and a tie. If you want to make every time you wear your cardigan a bit more luxurious go with a piece made of cashmere such as the Drake's London beauties pictured here.

4) Grey flannel pants
Grey flannel wool pants are for the fall what beige or white cotton slacks are for the summer. Absolute essential. If you gonna stick to one pair of pants I suggest you go with the charcoal. However keeping all three shades pictured below in your closet will give you a handful more of options.
In case you need a formal outfit but don't want to wear a full suit, take your grey flannel trousers, a navy blazer (suit jacket from point one will do the job), pair them with a pair of black oxfords and you are set to go.

5) Chukka boots
Chukka boots in general are one the most versatile pair of shoes there is. If you can only choose one pair, it should definitely be a chukka boot made of dark brown suede.

6) Accesories
Summer is the time to for light and pastel colored accessories made of linen, silk and light weight cotton. But when the fall comes it's better to put those on hold and start to play with knitted silk, wool and cashmere as well as some deeper and richer colors such as purple, burnt orange, dark blue and bottle green. It's good to remember that heavier fabrics in clothing also requires heavier fabrics in accessories.

7) Car coat
There's a lot of choices to choose a jacket for the fall from. Besides basic rain macs and quilted jackets a car coat that's perfect for transitional periods is also an essential every guy should have. Great and suitable to combine with a suit while going to work but will also pair itself easily with a pair of jeans and a sweater for the more casual occasions. If you're looking for a coat to be even more versatile, go with the one made by Italian Fay, equipped with a built-in detachable quilted vest.

8) Weekender bag
Every man needs a bag. A good (and aesthetically pleasing) bag. No matter if it's spring, summer, winter or fall, a good weekender is still an essential. And as I can not hide my love for Mismo, that's the definite choice for this fall. In case you are looking for a bag on lighter budget I suggest you check Herschel Supply bags that have just made their way to Opumos collection.

9) "Whatever Camoflauge"
Camo and military inspired garments have made their way into streets, collections and stores so decisively that I had to give the ninth place of this fall essential list to it. Remember this when it comes to camo; The best way to incorporate it into your outfits is to work with it slowly and carefully through small accessories such as pocket squares or ties. After that you might be ready to transit to larger accessories or garments, where the print’s visual impact plays significantly bigger role. However remember also that Camo still is not for everyone…

10) Luxury leisure and jogging gear
The last place of this list is reserved for luxury and cashmere. What would be a better outfit to spend the weekend relaxing at your couch or to go and have a little walk on a chilly night than a track suit made of cashmere by Brunello Cucinelli. Beanie, gloves and socks of course made of that same furry and smooth piece of blessedness.
