Maison Martin Margiela x H&M Preview

Posted on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 by IanG

Tis the season to collaborate. While the initial rumors of a collaboration between Maison Martin Margiela and H&M have been long settled as true, images giving insight towards the line have surfaced. Unlike most collabs offered out of the Swedish retailer, Margiela’s line will not be a trickled down version of sketchbook scraps but rather a less expensive recreation of classic Margiela pieces. The keyword is inexpensive, the pieces will be produced in the heart of and in respet to Margiela and will not come at a cheap H&M price tag. Think the Marni collab but on steroids. It looks to be an absolutely promising line with slim lines and tailored fits. Be sure to check back once the full look book is available nearing the lines release on November 15th.

As a wedding guest, your job is to dress (and act) in a manner that shows you care, without upstaging the wedding party or, particularly, the bride.
